Sep 2018 – Dynamics web pages don’t show in Outlook build 16.0.10730 or later
Back in Nov 2017 (see below), I documented an issue with the CRM add-in not showing web pages and getting stuck on “Waiting for a page to be retrieved …”.
The issue then was to do with an Outlook security update and a workaround was to add a registry setting.
Recently, I’ve started seeing the same symptom again but this time the cause is different; it seems that Outlook 2016 build 16.0.10730 or later has upset the Dynamics add-in when working on systems with multiple displays.

To save you looking, the workaround is to change a setting in Options for Outlook:
Under File > Options > General > User Interface Options > When using multiple displays select “Optimize for compatibility”
Then restart Outlook.
Nov 2017 – Outlook Security Update causes Dynamics web pages not to show
I’ve had a few instances of Dynamics records not showing in the Outlook client this week. It turns out that an update to Outlook is the cause as described in this Microsoft article: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/4049314/microsoft-dynamics-365-for-outlook-is-unable-to-render-webpages-after
The interim fix is to add a registry key to each user’s computer. The key is described in the above article.
